“This announcement/post is dated 21th January 2024, and as such it represents the latest information regarding the speakers for our 14th September 2024 OLM conference here in Hull, East Yorkshire, UK. The annual OLM event which is scheduled to take place in the Kingsley Suite inside the Canham Turner Building at Hull Universities main campus on Cottingham Road, is certainly building up to be a superb day long event.
Joining our already confirmed speakers of Steve Aspin, Jason Gleaves, Chris Evers, Graeme Rendall and Paul Ascough, we can now confirm that Peter Robbins WILL be joining us for his second attendance at an OLM event. Peter Robbins is well known as an investigative author and researcher, lecturer whose writing and research are firmly focused on the subject of truly anomalous UFOs and their implications for humanity. He has appeared as a guest on and been a consultant to numerous radio shows, television programs and documentaries.
Peter has made many appearances in the UK which have included a UK national book tour and talks at the Royal College of Science and Technology, London, the Universities of Hallam, Sheffield, Leeds, Yorkshire, Glasgow, and Cardiff. For the faculty and students of the Summerhill School, Suffolk East Anglia; UFO Magazine (UK)/Quest International Conferences, and East Midlands UFO Research (EMPHORA) Conference, Nottingham. ‘Conference of The Centre for Fortean Zoology,’ Devon; the ‘Beyond Knowledge Conference,’ Liverpool; BUFORA (British UFO Research Association) conferences and Woodbridge Suffolk UFO conferences. Professional credits include, editorial assistant on the United Nations’ Secretary General’s (requested) report “for the establishment of a UN-UFO Department,” and editorial assistant for Member of Parliament, the Honourable Brinsley Le Poer Trench, Earl of Clancarty’s (requested) paper for The House of Lords Debate on UFOs. Robbins was a founding member of Budd Hopkins’ Intruders Foundation, a member of its Advisory Board, and was Executive Assistant to Mr. Hopkins. He was Event Coordinator for the SCI FI Channel’s ‘Alien Abduction Phenomenon: A Symposium, organized to promote the release of the Steven Spielberg miniseries ‘Taken,’ and writer, planner and commentator for the “Ultimate UFO” and “Ultimate Crop Circle” DVD sets.

From 2007 until 2010 Robbins served as consultant to the City of Roswell New Mexico and was their liaison to Gov. Richardson’s office on UFO-related matters. He was coordinator of Roswell’s annual UFO Symposium, and testified before the Senate/Congressional (retired) committee at the Disclosure Hearings held at the National Press Club, Washington, D.C. in 2013.
